Geelong, Vic $110 golden yellow, flinty nose with wood smoke and stone fruit. Great balance. Rich wood spice, butterscotch richness on back palate which lingers with good length.
Macedon Vic $120 Michael Dilhon winemaker. Bright citrus and creamy aroma. Fresh, creamy and clean palate with a long fine finish.
North Canterbury, NZ $185 Clay limestone. 50% clay, 50% barrel, unfiltered and long ferment. Certified biodynamic. Spectacular power in the glass. Treated in the most delicate way possible, as good as a good bottle of chablis. “Lions Tooth” comes from the “weeds” that grow in the vineyards (dandelion). Steel, lime, fresh and linear, green fruit.
