La Biancara di Angiolino Maule Masieri 2015

Basically Soave, but Angiolino Maule doesn’t like the DOC, so this is declassified Gambellara.  This guy is a cult producer in the Italian natural wine scene, he used to be a famous pizzaiolo (pizza maker) and then decided to make wine.   Garganega from the foothills of Soave, no skin contact, stainless ferment.   Bruised apples, definitely ‘natural’ with sweet spices and that malic finish that Italian naturals have, great texture, smoky on the finish
